Order: 

The RN in the Paediatric Emergency Department may initiate the following assessments and treatments;

  • Administration of acetaminophen or
  • Administration of ibuprofen
  • Obtain clean catch urine specimen,  including urinalysis-

if urinalysis is positive send for culture
